Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe
About PRACE
A consortium of Austrian universities, represented by the ACONET Association, joined the "Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe" (PRACE) in July 2018 (see Press Release).
Between 2018 and 2023, the PRACE membership opened up new opportunities in the field of supercomputing for researchers and students in Austria, such as PRACE HPC Access, PRACE Training, and other PRACE Events. Austrian users from industry benefited from the same offers plus additional PRACE Services for Industry including SHAPE (PRACE’s SME HPC Adoption Programme in Europe).
Currently, PRACE is on its way to transform into an "Association of Users and HPC Centres in Europe".
